The key to a successful Esco New Equipment purchase is to have our engineers initiate the project in the right direction. This happens with the Custom Request Form or Project Questionnaire.
The questions that are asked on the form are critical aspects for all applications. You can help Esco by being prepared to answer the questions on the form. With all the information your proposal, purchase, delivery and installation of your new Esco equipment will be more timely and accurate because of the care taken to start on the right foot.

Airflow Volume and Pressure Drops	Airflow Volume : Required External Pressure Drop (E.P.D.) : (External pressure drop is the pressure differential between the inlet of the FFU and atmospheric pressure. It is the pressure drop required for example in recirculating type cleanroom applications. It must be specified by the cleanroom contractor/designer.) * Total Pressure Drop (T.P.D.) = Filter dP (Clean) + Filter Loading dP (Reserve for Filter Loading) + Filter Plenum dP (Airflow Friction Loss in Plenum) + Required External Pressure Drop (E.P.D.) * Esco will use 50% of filter dP for filter loading dP reserve * For std. H13 filters, filter dP (clean) is 115Pa @ 0.45m/s, dP is in proportion to airflow velocity * For std. H14 filters, filter dP (clean) is 125Pa @ 0.45m/s, dP is in proportion to airflow velocity * Esco will select fan type based on airflow volume and total pressure drop required * Contact Esco if you require assistance specifying the airflow volume and required external pressure drop requirements (provide cleanroom layout, number of FFUs, desired cleanliness class, desired noise level - if known, desired air changes per hour - if known)
