Product Manager

Responsibilites

• Manage Product Pricing, key market Distribution Channels, Product Marketing Communications. The Product Manager will work through Esco’s Regional Sales, Marketing, R&D, and Production Teams. 
• Functions as the single point resource for all strategic and technical product queries from Esco personnel and customers. 
• Travel to meet with distributors and end users in the top 10 markets (USA, China, Japan, Germany, France, UK, Italy, Brazil, India and Russia) as well as visit all key international trade shows in order to remain updated on latest market dynamics and customer requirements. 30% travel out of Singapore expected. 
• Prepares Product-related content for all Product Literature, Competitor Comparisons, Customer Presentations, Educational Materials and Operating Instructions. 
• At Esco, Product Managers are considered “high-value” positions in the organization structure. The sco Product Management Department is a small team of highly qualified individuals and each Product Manager reports directly to the Vice President of Marketing (who in turn reports directly to the CEO).

Requirements

• Business / commercial background a must, with at least 5 years experience in Sales & Marketing
• Candidates with prior Product Management experience preferred 
• An engineering background would be a significant plus 
• Candidate must be highly personable, possess excellent influential leadership and communication skills 
• Able to travel >30% out of Singapore 
• Singapore, Malaysia Citizens preferred (due to travel visa restrictions for other nationalities) 
• Candidate must have a "detail-oriented" personality, excellent personal organization and time management skills 
• Candidates must demonstrate an international outlook as this position requires frequent interaction with customers in North America, Western Europe, Japan, China and India (minimal interaction with regional customers in ASEAN although this position is based in Singapore)
